WOW! Computer for Seniors

March 24, 2011

Finally, a computer designed for mom, dad, and grandparents

In today’s ever evolving technological world it is extremely hard to keep up with the latest and greatest tech trends.  How often do we find ourselves now purchasing the newest iPad or Smartphone and discovering a month later that a new upgraded gadget has come along? Keeping up with this technological revolution is not only tiresome, but also expensive.  As we grow older, not only is this progression expensive, but it can also be particularly challenging to master the tools of these products. If you find yourself squinting to read the tiny print on your grandson’s iPad or struggling with fiddly touch screen buttons on the latest gadget, the WOW computer for seniors maybe the perfect product for you.

    1. Any monthly service fees on the Wow computer? 2. Will the computer recognise my provider when connected to the modem/router. Time Warner won’t give me any codes or passwords to make the connection on other computers I have tried? Please tell me I won’t have to call anyone for help? I have worked for 17 years in the past for a computer company, but that was way before pc’s came out. I am now completely stupid when it comes to the new lingo. I’ll be 77 in less than 3 months. I hope to call in an order as soon as I get your reply. Thanks so much. -Stu-

    • Thanks for your question Stu!

      1) A high speed internet connection (DSL or better) is required to use most functions of the WOW! Computer. We offer an optional VIP Support program for $9.95/month that covers unlimited phone and email support (including help on how to use the WOW) and many other benefits.

      2) All you need to do is plug in the power cord and connect the Ethernet cable (included) from the back of the router to the back of the WOW. While many WOW users just use the touch screen for all their activities, the included basic keyboard and mouse also must be plugged in if you wish to use them.

      3) Call 877-705-3668 if you have detailed questions you want answered or visit http://www.mywowcomputer.com for more information (including current pricing).
